Light Weight Concrete

Roofs --> New Construction --> Concrete --> Light Weight Concrete

Light Weight concrete is generally produced using lightweight aggregates in place of the sand and stone aggregates used in standard concrete. Consequently, the percentage of Portland Cement in lightweight concrete is not as high as in Cellular Light Weight Concrete. Therefore, it is quite safe to use the Sealoflex® acrylic (water based) or the Sealoflex® CT (rubber based) System as the roofing membrane.

It is highly recommended that as soon as the Lightweight Concrete has cured enough to be walkable, is should immediately be primed with Sealoment Plus™. which will prevent water from precipitation from entering the substrate during the curing period.
