and walls
• As a waterproof liner for fountains and planters
• As a below grade waterproofer for positive pressure
heads.
• As a vapor barrier

Advantages

CT FibreSeal System™ displays the following advantages:
• Ultraviolet (UV) and ozone resistance
• Acid and alkali resistance
• Highly flexible
• May be applied at low temperatures
• Excellent low temperature flexibility
• Adheres to almost any roof, floor or wall substrate
including stucco, concrete, metal, brick wood, asphalt,
TPO, PVC and EPDM
• Excellent mildew and algae resistance
• Conforms to odd shaped surfaces

Instructions

Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be clean and free of dust, loosely adhering particles, oil and grease.
Surfaces must be completely dry prior to application of CT FibreSeal System™.

Priming
No priming is necessary on unpainted wooden surfaces. All non-ferrous metals must be primed with Sealoflex Metal Etch Primer™. Unprotected iron or steel must be treated
with Sealoflex Rust X-2020™ followed by Sealoflex Metal Etch Primer™. New painted metal flashings, copings and accessories must be primed with Sealoflex Metal Etch Primer™.
EPDM Loose Laid:
Apply EPDM™ Primer at 250 sq.ft./gal. Allow to dry. Apply one coat of Sealoflex Pink® Waterbased at 100 sq.ft./gallon.
EPDM - Fully Adhered, TPO, PVC:
Directly apply CT FibreSeal™. Concrete and Masonry:
Above grade: Prime with a coat of Sealoflex Sealobond Primer WB™. Allow to dry thoroughly before continuing with CT FibreSeal Products™.
Below Grade, On-Grade Concrete, and Cellular Lightweight Concrete:
Prime with Sealoflex Sealoment Plus™ and/or Sealoflex Dampseal 101™.
Bituminous or asphalt surfaces:
Apply one coat of water-based Sealoflex Pink®. Allow to dry thoroughly before continuing with CT FibreSeal System™.

Application

CT FibreSeal Products™ may be applied by 7” roof brush or spray, they cannot be rolled. For spray applications, please contact the Sealoflex Technical Department.

Apply CT FibreSeal Pink™ at 40 square feet per gallon or one 5-gallon pail per 200 square feet. Allow to dry, then apply CT FibreSeal Top™ at 40 square feet per gallon or one 5-gallon pail per 200 square feet. This yields approximately 45 mils total dry film thickness.

Most applications of CT FibreSeal System™ will not require fabric. However, larger gaps, such as those between vertical and horizontal surfaces, may require the use of Sealoflex Fabric™ and Sealoflex CT Pink™.

Contact the Sealoflex Technical Department for guidance.

CAUTION!
If there is an impermeable layer within or below the concrete surface, contact the Sealoflex Technical Department for guidance.

Ensure that no water, moisture, or dew is present between applications.

Cleaning

CT FibreSeal Products™ can be dissolved in Sealoflex Quickclean™, and then rinsed with water.

Precautions

CT FibreSeal Products™ vapors are heavier than air and may travel along the ground or may be moved by ventilation and ignited by pilot lights, other flames, sparks, heaters, smoking, electric motors, static discharge, or other ignition sources at locations distant from material handling point.

Electrostatic charge may accumulate and create a hazardous condition when handling and applying CT FibreSeal Products™. To minimize this hazard, use approved bonding and grounding procedures. Review all operations which have the potential of generating an accumulation accumulation of electrostatic charge and/or a flammable atmosphere. Consult NFPA code.
