Sealobond Primer WB™

Penetrating Primer

Sealobond Primer WB™ is a deep penetrating low viscosity clear primer intended for chalky surfaces or where surface adhesion presents difficulties.

Uses

Sealobond Primer WB™ is designed to penetrate and wet out chalky or oxidized surfaces introducing a tough acrylic resin into the substrate to bind the surface to form a sound substrate to accept top coats of various types thus
providing improved adhesion to the substrate.
Typical applications are:
• Existing panted surfaces
• Concrete or masonry
• Synthetic Stucco
• Lightweight concrete (not cellular
lightweight concrete)

Advantages

Sealobond Primer WB™ displays the following characteristics:
• Penetrates readily into the substrate
• Easy to apply
• Forms a sound substrate suitable for coating
• Dries quickly
• Alkali resistant

Surface Preparation

• All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from oil,
grease, or loosely adhering particles
• If concrete surfaces are saturated apply Sealoment Plus™
and allow to cure about two weeks or longer to allow
concrete to dry. Then apply Sealobond Primer WB™ to
prime surface for over coating.

Application

• Apply by brush, roller or airless spray equipment.
• Allow to dry 24 hours.

Cleaning

Wash tools and equipment immediately after use with water. Cured Sealobond Primer WB™ can be removed with Quickclean™, available from Sealoflex, Inc.

Precautions

Caution! If there is any concern that the concrete contains excessive moisture even after Sealoment Plus™ has been in place for two weeks or longer, it is strongly recommended that Sealoflex Dampseal 101™ be applied instead of Sealobond Primer WB™.
