When applying Sealoflex Pink® to surfaces like Kynar® (fluorocarbon) and Silicon Polyester coatings, Additive 100™ is mixed into the product to promote adhesion to these difficult substrates.
Additive 100 is a liquid resin which is added to Sealoflex® Acrylic products to enhance their adhesion characteristics to certain substrates.
When applying Sealoflex Pink® to surfaces like Kynar® (fluorocarbon) and Silicon Polyester coatings, Additive 100™ is mixed into the product to promote adhesion to these difficult substrates.
Additive 100™ is easily incorporated into Sealoflex Pink®. It allows sufficient time for application before losing its effectiveness. Once the effect of the Additive 100 has expired (after 24 hours), the remaining Sealoflex Pink® is still usable for other applications.
Add one pint of Additive 100™ to five gallons of Sealoflex Pink® with sufficient agitation to thoroughly blend the two components but avoiding foaming. Use within 24 hours of mixing for maximum benefit.
Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Avoid breathing spry mist. In case of skin or eye contact, flush thoroughly with plenty of water. Contact a physician in cases of eye exposure.
Clear tan liquid.
Additive 100™ is a polyfunctional water borne adhesion promoter that enhances the bond of Sealoflex Pink® acrylic saturator to metal surfaces that have been previously finished with Kynar® (fluorocarbon) and Silicon Polyester based coatings. Because it is highly functional, Sealoflex Pink® treated with Additive 100™ must be applied within twenty-four hours of treatment. Unused treated material cannot be recovered and must be discarded.
One pint plastic jars.
To achieve the same adhesion characteristics after 24 hours, it would be necessary to reinnoculate the remaining Sealoflex Pink® with additional Additive 100 in the same ratio as before.
