Ceramiflex™

Highly Flexible Waterproof & Heat Reflective Roof & Wall Coating

Ceramiflex™ is a water borne, single component roof & wall coating. It is a tough flexible material, which displays good UV and Ozone resistance. Ceramiflex™ incorporates ceramic material, which is very effective in reflecting and dissipating heat on the surface of the coating. Ceramiflex™ is also used extensively as a protective coating to existing and new roofing materials such as single ply modified asphalt membranes, and metal roofs.

Uses

Ceramiflex™ is used:
- To provide a highly reflective surface over roof surfaces of all types
- For coating of metal roofs of all types
- To provide protection and add life expectancy to existing roof surfaces
- As the final coat to the Sealoflex Roofing System

Advantages

Ceramiflex™ displays the following advantages:
- Ultra Violet and Ozone resistant
- Excellent solar reflectance in white
- Fast Curing
- Excellent low temperature flexibility
- Adheres to almost any roof or wall substrate including stucco, concrete, metal, brick, wood, asphalt, PVC, etc.

Instructions

Ceramiflex™ - Instructions

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be dry and free of dust, loosely adheing particles, oil or grease.

Priming
No priming is necessary on unpainted wooden surfaces, asphalt, and weathered, galvanized steel or non-ferrous metal and PVC. Unprotected iron or steel must first be treated with Rust X-2020™ and then primed with Sealoflex Metal Etch Primer™. Chalky surfaces, Concrete masonry and Hypalon® prime with Sealobond Primer WB™. EPDM rubber must be primed with Sealoflex EPDM Primer™.

Application

Ceramiflex™ may be applied by brush, roller or airless spray equipment.

Cleaning

Uncured Ceramiflex™ can be rinsed with water. Cured Ceramiflex™ can be dissolved with Sealoflex Quickclean™ and rinsed with water.

Precautions

Do not apply if rain is imminent. Ceramiflex™ will not cure when the ambient humidity is 100% e.g., during periods of dew or fog. Curing will commence again once the humidilty drips below 100%.
Check adhesion to previously painted surfaces as some surfaces may require treatment or priming.
