Rubber Based Waterproofing System
Sealoflex CT Pink™ is a solvent borne single component coating. It cures to a tough rubber material, which displays good adhesion and flexibility. Sealoflex CT Pink™ is generally used with Sealoflex polyester reinforcing fabric and Sealoflex CT Top™ to form a fully adhered single ply roofing membrane.
Uses
>Sealoflex CT Pink™ is used as the base and saturation component of the fully reinforced Sealoflex CT™ System which is used for roofing applications including flashing, parapets wall and copings and roof penetrations and box gutters. Other uses are for pond lining, shower or wet room liners, below grade and “green roof” waterproofing as well as plaza deck waterproofing under tile concrete or pavers.
Advantages
Sealoflex CT Pink™ displays the following advantages:
- Does not become brittle with age
- May be applied at low temperatures
- Very good low temperature flexibility
- Good resistance to alkalis and acids
- Adheres to TPO, EPDM and Hypalon® without priming
Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be dry, clean and free of dust, loosely adhering particles, oil or grease.
Note: Always check that no surface moisture is on the surface before application.
Application
Sealoflex CT Pink™ can be applied with brush, roller or airless spray equipment.
Please refer to the specific Sealoflex System application guides for proper application instructions.
Cleaning
Sealoflex CT™ can be dissolved with Quickclean™, and then rinsed with water.
Precautions
Read the MSDS on Sealoflex CT™ carefully before application. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If eyes become contaminated flush with water for at least 15 minutes. If ingested do not induce vomiting and seek medical attention immediately. Use only in well ventilated areas and avoid inhaling vapors, or static electricity contact with sparks, open flame, motors and heat as Sealoflex CT™ is FLAMMABLE.
Fish and Aquatic Ponds
Follow all surface preparation, priming and application instructions as described above. The final 2 coats of Sealoflex CT must be Sealoflex CT Pond Grade™. Do not use Sealoflex CT Top™ for this application.
Important Notes
CAUTION!
If there is an impermeable waterproof layer within or below the concrete surface, contact Sealoflex Technical Department for Application Requirements.
DO NOT USE Sealoflex CT with Sealoflex Deck Fabric.
